The President’s room, connected to the Board Room, boasts several works of art that could alone form a small but precious city art gallery: its walls are in fact covered with canvases by Renato Natali ( Antica via dell'Olio or Vecchia Livorno , 1930), Ulvi Liegi ( Il bindolo , 1887), Vittorio Matteo Corcos, Raffaello Gambogi, Renuccio Renucci, Gastone Razzaguta, as well as the much cited print of Il negoziante in banco, the most emblematic work for the history of the LiVORNO Chamber of Commerce building (link to further details).
A separate mention for the painting Ferdinando II that presents Pietro Tacca to Vittoria della Rovere by Annibale Gatti (1878), a significant work for the history of the city of Livorno that celebrates the Grand Duke's meeting with the author of the monument of the Four Moors, which took place in 1622.
Important sculptures of Oreste Cesare Tarrini, Francesco Parente and Ruggero Focardi are placed on the walnut root furniture.
