It is possible to relive the atmosphere of mine life inside the mine, thanks to the areas set up to represent the miners’ daily life. Visitors can find the canteen, the cages that contained the canaries that acted as “alarms” to indicate the excessive presence of gas, but also work clothes, such as helmets and boots.
